Dr. Kapadia grew up in Alabama, and received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
After his medical degree, Dr. Kapadia went on to complete his internship in general surgery and residency training in urological surgery at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR. During his residency, Dr. Kapadia developed a strong passion for male fertility, andrology and men’s health. In particular, bringing joy to couples—both young and old—gave him incredible inspiration and love for this field.
Therefore, he went further to complete a renowned fellowship in male fertility, microsurgery, and sexual Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. During both his residency and fellowship, he trained with exceptional leaders and pioneers of microsurgical vasectomy reversal and penile implant surgery.
Dr. Kapadia followed his wife to Atlanta, and serves the growing metropolitan Atlanta area through Wellstar Urology. As the lead of male infertility program at Wellstar, he provides comprehensive care for men with a variety of fertility issues. He works closely with all female fertility specialists (IVF specialists) in the Atlanta area, and provides comprehensive fertility care for couples.
Dr. Kapadia also helped create the Prostate Cancer Restoration Program to help men find a solution for side effects of prostate cancer treatment.
He is fellowship-trained in microsurgical vasectomy reversal, advanced sperm retrieval, advanced penile implant surgery, artificial urinary sphincter surgery as well as surgeries for Peyronie’s disease.

He has published extensively in well-known medical journals, and has also presented his research at both national and international meetings in male fertility and sexual medicine. During his fellowship, he received the prestigious “
Arnold Belker Award” granted to one fellow each year in North America for their research efforts. He is an active member of the
Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, the Society of Male Reproduction and Urology, as well as the
Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
Dr. Kapadia loves spending time with his wife and their lovely families. They love traveling and learning about people from around the world, their food, culture, and way of life.
