When you or a loved one isn’t feeling well, Wellstar’s Care Now provides convenient access to virtual care for the whole family – anytime, anywhere. Our trusted clinicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to diagnose and treat a wide range of minor health concerns. Care is available on demand or can be scheduled at a time most convenient for you. This service is available statewide.

• Minor cold or flu symptoms
• Mild rashes or skin irritations
• Other non-urgent concerns

Experiencing an emergency?

If you experience any of the following, call 911 and or visit the nearest emergency room  

• Severe chest or upper abdominal pain
• Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
• Sudden dizziness, weakness, changes in vision
• Difficulty walking
• Difficulty speaking, confusion or changes in mental status
• Uncontrolled bleeding
• Need for narcotic or controlled substance prescriptions or refills
• Any other symptom that feels life threatening or requires immediate medical attention

What to expect

Virtual visits are available only to patients physically located in Georgia. You must be present on camera for the duration of your visit. For pediatric appointments, the child must also be visible throughout the consultation. To ensure the best experience, join your visit from a safe, quiet and well-lit environment, and avoid driving or multitasking while connected with your provider.

When to visit in person

Some conditions may require additional testing or an in-person visit for accurate diagnosis. Prescriptions are not guaranteed and will be determined by your provider based on clinical evaluation. Controlled substances cannot be prescribed through virtual visits.

Payment options

Virtual visits can be billed through insurance or for a flat fee. Insurance coverage varies by plan. A claim will be submitted to your insurance provider, and you may receive a bill for any remaining balance after processing.
