Mitzi Rubin has been a provider that listens and hears. Upon meeting Mitzi, I was overwhelmed and experiencing high levels of anxiety regarding my health. My blood pressure was extremely high, I was scared; the blood pressure medications seemed like they were working. To be completely honest I don't like talking medication. Mitzi opened up a new chapter in my life. I wanted to live and my faith in God was and is important to me. She acknowledged me as human being and all the hats I wear as a human and woman. She really looked at my medical history and helped me to come up with plan especially with things I have control over like dietary choices. It's not just about pushing meds down a person throat which can't be the solution. It's healthy eating choices it exercising consistently; getting heart rate up. It's a person's mental health. I appreciate her and the wellness center. I believe the wellness centers can be bring about healthy lifestyle and choices
