Wellstar Primary Care

Hunter Richman, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who provides comprehensive primary care for adults age 18 and older. She focuses on preventive medicine, patient education, and helping patients achieve long-term health and wellness through personalized, compassionate care.

Hunter earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating cum laude, from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Georgia Campus. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University.

Before joining Wellstar in 2024, Hunter gained extensive experience as a hospitalist physician assistant, caring for patients with complex medical conditions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health by providing evidence-based care in a supportive, approachable environment.

Outside of work, Hunter enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She loves trying new recipes, staying active, and cheering on Georgia Tech Baseball.

Crystal Soyer Arrais, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care for patients age 12 and older. She welcomes new patients and offers both in-office and virtual visits, making it convenient to access personalized, evidence-based care.

Crystal earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, where she was honored with the Spirit of Nursing Award for her medical mission work in Haiti. With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, she has cared for patients in community health, critical care, sports medicine, and women's health.

Crystal has dedicated much of her career to obstetrics and gynecology, serving as both a women's health provider and a surgical first assist in gynecologic and obstetric procedures. Today, she continues to provide women's health services in a primary care setting, supporting patients through every stage of reproductive health and menopause. As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, she stays current on the latest research to provide evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs.

In addition to caring for patients, Crystal is passionate about educating future healthcare professionals. She has served as a nursing and family nurse practitioner educator throughout her career and is currently a clinical educator at Kennesaw State University.

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with her husband and their large family. Together, they enjoy serving at their church, traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.

Dr. Jeremy Boyd received his medical degree from Saint Matthew’s University School of Medicine in West Bay, Cayman Islands. He completed his family medicine residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, NY.

Dr. Boyd is board-certified in family medicine.

Christine Dogan, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who provides primary care for adults age 18 and older in Alpharetta, Georgia. She offers both in-office and virtual visits, making it easy for patients to access the care they need. Christine is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and works closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that support their overall health and well-being.

Christine earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Cincinnati. With extensive clinical experience, she provides care for a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions, with a focus on prevention, patient education, and helping patients achieve their long-term health goals.

Known for her practical, down-to-earth approach, Christine creates realistic care plans that fit her patients' daily lives. She strives to make each visit productive, supportive, and easy to understand so patients feel confident managing their health.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys expressing her creativity through painting and spending quality time with her husband and daughter. She values balancing her dedication to caring for patients with the moments that matter most with her family.

Sherry James, NP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive, compassionate care for patients age 12 and older at Wellstar Family Medicine in Alpharetta, Georgia. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is passionate about holistic, preventive healthcare that supports long-term wellness.

Sherry treats both acute and chronic conditions, including acne, sore throats, anxiety, hyperactivity disorders, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, hypertension, obesity, and weight management. She offers services through in-office and virtual appointments to make care as accessible as possible.

Known for her open communication style, Sherry actively listens to her patients’ concerns and develops treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Her goal is to optimize health outcomes and enhance quality of life for every patient she serves. She welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
