Wellstar’s Pain Medicine program provides advanced, personalized care for people experiencing acute, chronic or cancer-related pain.
Our board-certified pain medicine physicians help people find safe, effective relief. Because every person is different, we focus on treatment options tailored to your needs.
Our treatments may include referrals to physical or chiropractic therapy, injection therapies, implantable devices, rehabilitation or advanced interventional procedures. We specialize in non-surgical, non-opioid pain therapies and do not prescribe or manage pain medication. When appropriate, our physicians may prescribe non-opioid medications to help manage pain, including medications for neuropathic pain, inflammation or muscle spasm.
Collaborative care
Our team takes a multidisciplinary approach, working closely with physical therapists and chiropractors to design comprehensive care plans. If we determine you are a candidate for spine surgery, we will refer you to an expert neurosurgeon.Connected to leading experts
