Karensa Franklin, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides primary care for patients age 12 and older in Roswell, Georgia. She offers comprehensive family medicine services with a special focus on preventive care and whole-person wellness. She is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Franklin earned her medical degree from Escuela Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas (UCIMED) in Costa Rica after completing her bachelor’s degree in biology and premedical sciences at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She completed her family medicine residency at Central Michigan University in Michigan and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Franklin believes in caring for the body, mind, and soul and strives to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. Dr. Franklin welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Hanna Assefa, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides primary care for patients age 12 and older in Roswell, Georgia. She offers both in-office and virtual appointments to give patients convenient access to their care team.

Dr. Assefa specializes in evidence-based medicine, preventive care, and the management of complex chronic conditions. She believes in forming lasting, collaborative partnerships with her patients and focuses on clear communication and shared decision-making to help them reach their health goals.

She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her family medicine residency at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. Dr. Assefa is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Amy Barfield, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides primary care for patients age 12 and older in Roswell, Georgia. She focuses on preventive care and chronic condition management, helping patients maintain long-term health through personalized and compassionate care.

Dr. Barfield earned her medical degree from Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She believes in building trusting relationships with her patients and tailoring care plans to support their overall well-being.
