Dr. Basheer Shakir is an expert in complex and minimally invasive spine procedures that offer less pain, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery time for patients. He also specializes in disk replacements instead of fusions to preserve spinal motion and flexibility, and performs other procedures for patients who have had surgery or suffer from pain not responsive to conventional spine surgery.
