Information for Wellstar Oncology Patients During COVID-19

We know this is a very difficult time, and we want to reassure you that we are more committed than ever to meeting the needs of our oncology patients. Our dedicated teams continue to monitor the current situation, and we are taking every possible precaution to ensure the health and safety of the people we care for each day.

If you have an upcoming office visit scheduled and you’re not feeling well, or you have a cough or a fever, please call before you come. You should also notify us in advance if you have had contact with anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or has recently tested positive for COVID-19 so we can take the proper precautions prior to your arrival. It is also important that you let us know if you have been tested for COVID-19.

Telehealth and virtual health visits are available for some of our patients. We will reach out to you if this is something that might be useful for you. If your health situation permits and you would like to postpone or delay an upcoming appointment, please let us know and we will reschedule for a future date.

We want to you to know we are here to answer any questions you may have. We care about you, our patients and our communities, and we will always put your health and safety first.
