As you start your new position with Wellstar to serve our patients and consumers, we want to make the transition to your new role as easy as possible. We will handle the details so you can focus on serving with compassion, pursuing excellence and honoring every voice.
Your Day 1 new team member experience will consist of a 4-hour virtual orientation session in the morning followed by self-led orientation modules for learning in the afternoon, to be completed by 5 PM. A new team member toolkit will be provided with the tools you need to get you started at Wellstar, give you a brief introduction to our health system, and answer frequently asked questions.

Wellstar direct patient care providers are required to complete clinical orientation. The training for clinical orientation follows a self-directed model of learning. You will complete assigned online learning modules in both Success Factors and Elsevier learning platforms. All required clinical orientation assignments must be completed by 5 PM on Thursday and prior to performing patient care on your unit. A clinical orientation guide will be provided as a resource for this part of your learning experience.
