Team Member and Caregiver Orientation
Welcome to Wellstar
We recognize you are more than a Team Member and Caregiver. You are a friend, a son, a daughter, maybe even a parent or grandparent. Your life is full, busy, and demanding. As you start your new position with Wellstar to serve our patients and consumers, we want to make the transition to your new role as easy as possible. We will handle the details so you can focus on serving with compassion, pursuing excellence and honoring every voice.
Your Day 1 new team member experience will consist of a virtual orientation session in the morning followed by self-led orientation modules for learning in the afternoon, to be completed by 5 PM. A new team member toolkit will be provided with the tools you need to get you started at Wellstar, give you a brief introduction to our health system, and answer frequently asked questions.

Clinical Team Members
Wellstar direct patient care providers are required to complete week 1 clinical orientation. The training for clinical orientation follows a self-directed model of learning. You will complete your assigned online learning module in Workday. All required week 1 clinical orientation assignments must be completed by 5:00pm on Wednesday and prior to performing patient care on your unit.
