About Nathan Mordel, MD
Dr. Mordel received his medical training at Hadassah Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, graduating with a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After coming to the United States, he completed a residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics and a fellowship in advanced pelvic surgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Mordel specializes in advanced robotic, laparoscopic, vaginal pelvic surgery, including for fibroids, endometriosis, heavy and/or painful menstrual periods, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Mordel has performed thousands of robotic and laparoscopic cases - over 5000 hysterectomies and myomectomies for uteri up to 4,500 grams (10 pounds). He has performed over 500 sacrocolpopexies and over 2000 excisions of endometriosis. His conversion rate is less than 0.1%. Certain complex cases require multispecialty participation - Dr. Mordel collaborates with robotically trained colorectal and urological surgeons.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mordel. I just recently had my hysterectomy and everything went extremely well. Dr Mordel made special accomodations for me due to an emergency situation and I am so grateful to him and his surgical staff. The whole team made me feel at ease, which is an amazing going into a surgery. Dr Mordel has a wonderful and professional bedside manner I would highly recommend him.

This is the first appointment I had that my husband did not attend with me, and I felt completely confident and secure in the office with Dr. Mordel. His front desk staff are excellent. His nursing staff, everybody, I can't say enough at how much I love all of them. They take really good care of me. And if I could give enough stars, there's not enough to give.

Excellent doctor, nurses, and office staff. My only complaint was driving through the parking garage ( all levels) several times. I had to find a spot away from the building and walk. I was told certain levels are for employees which I wish had been posted somewhere. I follow rules and would have skipped those levels.
