Avirup Guha, MD

Dr. Guha is the inaugural director of cardio-oncology at Medical College of Georgia. He is a physician-scientist who has dedicated his clinical and research work to the emerging field of cardio-oncology with over 100 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals such as Circulation, European Heart Journal, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Blood. Dr. Guha is a rising star in the field of cardio-oncology as the recipient of an American Heart Association Strategically Focused Research Network grant in disparities in cardio-oncology. He was also honored with the rare distinction of Fellow of the International Cardio-Oncology Society.
