Wellstar’s pediatric orthopedic surgeons perform surgeries and minimally-invasive procedures to help babies, children, and teens achieve the best recovery. When young patients are still growing, their body’s response to injuries in their bones, joints and muscles can be different than adults. Our surgeons have extensive knowledge about conditions that affect children’s growth, such as spine and gait abnormalities. They train to recognize when something that looks like a problem could correct itself on its own, such as intoeing in a toddler.
