Adult Volunteer Program
at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center.
There is a minimum commitment of six months or 100 hours of service required for all adult volunteers age 18 or older. If you are able to meet this commitment, please follow these steps to become a volunteer.
Becoming a Wellstar volunteer
- Complete the online volunteer application.
- Provide current immunization record
- Birth date prior to 1957: No immunization records required.
- Birth date of 1957 or after: Applicants born after 1957 must include immunization records for measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox) and Tdap. If you do not have access to your immunization records, you can request a blood titer for MMR and varicella through your primary care physician or walk-in labs. You may also contact a local urgent care to inquire if they offer blood titers. Submit your immunization records to [email protected].
- All volunteers are required to obtain an influenza vaccine each flu season (September-March).
Once all the required information is received, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. If you are selected to become a Wellstar North Fulton volunteer, you will be required to authorize a background check, get TB testing and attend an orientation session prior to your start date.
