Adult Volunteer Program at Wellstar Kennestone

1. Complete the online application.
2. Provide current immunization record:
• Birthdate prior to 1957: No immunization records required
• Birthdate of 1957 or after: Applicants born after 1957 must include immunization records for Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) and Tdap. If you do not have access to your immunization records, you can request a blood titer for MMR and Varicella through your primary care physician or walk in lab clinics. You may also contact a local urgent care to inquire if they offer blood titers.

3. All volunteers are required to obtain an Influenza Vaccine each flu season (September-March).

Once all the required information is received, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. If, after the interview, you are selected to become a Wellstar Kennestone Volunteer, you will be required to authorize a background check, get TB testing, and attend an orientation session prior to your start date.
