Many Wellstar hospitals offer Spiritual Health by clinically trained chaplains. If you are in need of immediate assistance, please call your hospital operator and ask for the chaplain.
Journey Through Bereavement
Wellstar Health System partners with Journey Through Bereavement (JTB) to offer perinatal palliative care to families who receive a life-limiting diagnosis during their pregnancy. Our goal is for the families in our program to look back on their child's birth with a sense of joy and contentment based on the knowledge that they were able to make the most of the time that they had together.
Your Gift Can Make a Difference
We're a compassionate group of physicians, nurses, chaplains, hospital team members and bereaved families who have the heart to serve this community. Make a gift to the Wellstar Foundation in support of Journey Through Bereavement to help us continue to serve our families as they embark on this journey toward healing. Journey Through Bereavement is a not-for-profit organization started by our own patients who saw an opportunity to help. With their support, Wellstar offers this compassionate program to families who choose to participate.
