Love Dr. Chen and the team!!! They are always warm and welcoming. I know they see so many patients every day, but they always make me feel like I'm the only one there. They take time to ask questions and make sure to see if I have any. She is very thorough, professional and friendly, and always put me at ease. I totally trust Dr.Chen and so happy to have her as my PCP. Her assistant is also wonderful! (Forgot her name) I also had blood drawn the same day, and the Lab team always does a great job of getting what they need on the first "poke." I'm a little squeamish when it comes to needles, and they do such a great job!!

I received an estimate for an upcoming visit showing an estimated patient responsibility of $248.80. Since I believed my insurance should cover the visit, I contacted Wellstar Health System to ask whether my insurance information had been properly processed. Rather than answering the question, I was told to contact the physician's office directly. I then called the physician's office and left a message requesting a callback. Unfortunately, I never received a response. This created a frustrating situation where I was trying to clarify a billing estimate before my appointment but could not get a clear answer from either the health system or the physician's office. Patients should not have to make multiple calls and wait without a response when they are simply trying to understand whether their insurance has been correctly applied. I hope Wellstar improves communication between its billing department and physician offices and responds more promptly to patient inquiries regarding insurance and estimates.
