I was seen for a migraine. They reviewed notes for previous treatments and was super kind. Knowing what I was being seen for, they had the room dark before I entered and only turned the lights on when necessary. Everyone was super friendly and explained everything in great detail. They made me aware they were behind in seeing patients, but they still got me in a room as soon as possible and allowed me to recline in a dark and quiet room instead of making me sit in a waiting room. Highly recommend.

I waited in the exam room for one and a half hours. When the NP finally saw ne she did apologize sincerely for the wait and advised she was the only provider there. The staff should have advised that up front or at least made contact during my wait to let me know this. 2ndly why would an urgent care center only have one provider to see patients?

I have been through a lot of Wellstar urgent care facilities. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for a pre-sport physical only to be told. It couldn't be granted because a note a previous doctor had in the system. Our written discharge instructions from that doctor said something different and the urgent care doctor was not willing to listen or understand.

Also NEVER challenge a minor against a parent. I was there for my kid. NOT what was interpreted by the doctor. I also believe others that came after us were seen before us based on 2 people had rooms and the other person that came last was seen 1st.

She had excellent bedside manners. I felt genuinely cared for and respected throughout my visit.
