Dr. Jordan serves as chair of surgery and surgeon in chief at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. While leading a diverse group of surgeons, he oversees surgical care across a vast health system with a focus on medical education and a collaborative approach for quality and new technology. He previously served as the John E. Skandalakis Chair in Surgery at Emory University and a director of the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery. His professional society participation includes American Surgical Association membership, president of the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery, president of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and secretary-treasurer and president of Southern Association for Vascular Surgery.

Very nice visit but the room was very cold, If one has to partly undress at each visit the rooms need to be warmer at least 70 and staff can then not have to wear so many layers of clothing ( I know Wellstar's colors and material of scrubs are not the best and are o poor quality).

Apparently post surgery/infection and being put in a hospital bed for two weeks with the only opportunity to stand was to use a commode next to the bed. I was constantly told to lay down and pill pushed my whole stay. Upon discharge I was supposed to have prescriptions sent to pharmacy that were never received. Next I was supposed to have a follow up 2 weeks later that was never arranged- the office called me today after what was supposed to be my 2nd follow up. My appt time was 2:15 and I was roomed @2:35 only to be seen closer to 4:00. Why have an appt time if you can't be seen- my time is just as valuable as any drs. Also I would like to note I had poor care in the er- really disgusting care. They put me in a bed infront of the nurses station and when I would sit up in the bed and ask for water or to use the bathroom I was denied and told to pee on the pad. They strapped my wrists so I would not sit up and left me for hours in my own urine- DISCUSSED!! I was not hostile and my med records shoe that I was sane, coherent non violent and of a sound mind. Now to the next I was never told what meds they were giving me or the surgery info til I started asking and after discharge unable to access the surgeon. It took over 3 weeks to get my 181 pages of info as well. The efficiency of your care has been less than acceptable in my opinion , as I have family members in the medical field who are disgusted with the way my treatment was handled.
