It was hard to hear who was being called back. Large waiting room with groupings of seats scattered. Staff did not speak loudly enough.

I felt like all the support staff, starting from the front door, someone that I spoke with on the phone, the nurse, the physician's assistant were all wonderful. The doctor, myself and my partner, felt like he was very disinvolved and that he had not read my chart very carefully, especially when it came to some specifics about medical photography that I have absolutely requested there to be none of. He kind of upset me in the fact that he acted like it was no big deal to mention it and that everybody does it and this was something that has been specifically noted in my chart. In fact, I almost always work with female physicians for this exact reason and there wasn't an option for a female physician for radiology. He also insisted on being the tumor itself.

You're treated like a number there. There's no wants at all. You know, the people do it every day. They're just desensitized to it. They could take a lot from AO in North Augusta behind the municipal building, the cancer center there. Just a totally different atmosphere. It'd be nice if you had somebody there walking around and seeing if they could help somebody or answer any questions. A little bit of care, that's all. I mean, they show us your care. That's all.
