Why won't the medical community LISTEN to ENT's & Neurologists to do more research for patients suffering from Ménière's disease??? Dr's. have written reports/papers with little to no support. This disease has significantly increased & it's time to learn "why" & what, if anything, can alleviate its symptom's. Drugs don't & won't do the trick to resolve it! Symptom's differ in everyone. The current surgery procedures have not proven effective (long term) so newer alternative treatments could be considered if experts truly wanted to get to the bottom of this complex disease. It's not rocket science. It just needs deeper FOCUS, DILIGENCE & Dr's who are willing to raise the bar to be cutting edge @ WELLSTAR. Dr. Narwani is wonderful & sent me to a Meniere's specialist who offered his "best suggestions"- which were actually no better than Dr. Narwani's. As an educated & health conscience patient, I found that frustrating & disappointing.

Unfortunately, this very nice doctor had an emergency evidently and I sat there waiting 40 or 45 minutes for him to come in. He really didn't have to do too much for me but look in my ear and tell me that it was fine. He was very nice. When I told him that I thought I was there to have my hearing checked, that I thought it had gotten worse. And even though I didn't have an appointment to do that, they were able to squeeze me in, which was great. Thank you. Both people were very nice to me.

Dr. Narwani always explains his findings in terms that are understandable and makes sure that you do not have any other questions before leaving. He recently saw my 100 year old mother and treated her with so much dignity and respect by talking to her directly. (Other Drs tend to talk around her, which is upsetting to her). Staff is also very kind and professional.
