About Venu Sajja, MD
Dr. Sajja is board certified in internal medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and nuclear cardiology. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Sajja completed his internal medicine internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University and his residency at Drexel University. He also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at West Virginia University.
His special interests include coronary artery disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Sajja joined Wellstar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in April 2009. He is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
Dr. Sajja is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is fluent in Telugu.

My issue is that the doctor tells you that he wants to see you back in six months. However, when you go to the front desk to make the appointment the receptionist at the desk tells you that you cannot get an appointment six months out. This causes problems when it comes to prescription refills, and things along those lines. My last from my last visit it took me nine months to get back in to see my doctor, not the six months that he requested using your system it should be looked at seriously thank you

The Dr. Was very helpful and seemed concerned about his patients, the doctor made me feel somewhat comfortable with my concerns today . I was pleased with the heat doctor today.

Dr. Sajja was a joy to meet. I listened to his plan of care for me. I will follow it accordingly. I usually a bad patient but I am redeemed. His staff from front desk to clinical made feel quite comfortable. I was truly anxious about this vist. Plentiful thanks to your team.

I was hoping for more clearity of whats happened to me. I think a month is much to long for the tests the doctor ordered! My life is on hold untill I know what my condition is.

1) The doctor seemed harried and rushed. 2) The doctor complained that no blood work had been done ( I had the results from my GP who is independent); however, he had not prescribed any blood tests. 3) Information received on this visit conflicted with what the same doctor had told me on the last visit, and differed from the heart surgeon. An effort needs to be made to get everyone on the same page. 4) No follow up appointment could be made in six months. I was told that I would be put on a " recurring call" list. This is ridiculous. 5) This doctor made assumptions about my diet that are not true. He told me to lay off the sweets, without even asking for my diet ( I have fruits and nuts for dessert/ snack). He then tried to convince me to join a weight loss group at Wellstar. I have lost 30+ pounds on my own in the last year. Know your patient before making suggestions/ assumptions. 6) It is not necessary to send 4 automated reminders. Two reminders came after I had done the online check in!! Enough already!!
