The nurse practitioner appeared to have a preset mindset. I asked about my not being able to breathe and she never addressed it. That's one thing. There are probably other things too, but that's the most important one.

My experience yesterday was a little disappointing. Did not get any extra information than the information I received from the hospital when doing my stay of installing these stents. I felt as though the provider yesterday was a bit condescending and not forthcoming with the information that I was requesting. I felt very dismayed as leaving. As I was told, the medication I'm on will be the medication I will take for the rest of my life. And I just rebuke that and don't believe that it's true. Thank you.

Your people took very good care of me, however they wouldn't give me any tissue. I had a real bad runny nose. They said I should go in the bathroom and get some toilet paper. I thought that was inappropriate.

This is a very good practice with Drs and Nurses who recognize why patients are there and they either have the natural ability for empathy or they grasped the training and understanding.This PA was both somewhat curt verbally and in their display of body language. Suggest some reinforcement in this area. Make people feel comfortable so they can discuss their pains and feelings.
