Receptionist at sign in very warm ! Naomi the nurse was very warm & Great doing Physical Exam as well as very Attentive! First time meet DT.Atkinson & wished I had been going to her earlier ! Very attentive & informative ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND?

I was a new patient. I went in and set expectations that I was established in the relationship, so I wanted to be treated like a new patient. So any tests that you would be given, you would provide as a new patient. That was not necessarily done. Some of the tests were done. I didn't have a lot of questions asked about prior history other than what was communicated prior to me going. So it was opportunity there to ask additional questions. What went well, what I did ask for and what I did have questions about was answered, but I just felt like it was a bit rushed considering it was 15 minutes past my appointment time, more than 15 minutes past my appointment time. I just did not feel that connection with the provider that I saw.

We waited 1 hour after driving up to the parking area. No one came out and we had to ask people on their lunch break to help us. I was told to come at least 15 min early to give information but even though we were earlier than that it didn't matter and we waiting a long time with an appointment

I am not a long a long term patient, but I have been coming to this office for a couple of years now. Each time I am apprehensive and feeling like I have to prepare a defense for my conversations with the doctor. The first thing Dr. Atkinson said to me this visit was 'What happened here?' starting off with my weight gain. Not, how are you? or How have things been? none of that. Even though I expected this, it still puts me on edge. She seems to try to be friendly with conversation, but it feels a bit fake. I know they only have a few mins with the patient and go off of the lab results, but just feels bad when I leave the office. The staff is good. And Naomi is awesome.. but I leave this office every time feeling like a failure and I've been judged and marked as 'bad'. I really wish I could have someone who is willing to work WITH me and not 'at' me or my conditions.
