I was scheduled by my cardiologist to have a test done today and he referred me to a doctor in the same practice. I was under the impression that I was to have the test done today. Instead I had to pay for a consultation to go over all the exact same information I had told my cardiologist that was included in my file. The test was not done and it was a complete waste of my time and resources. Then I was told I had to wait six weeks to make the appointment to have the test done. I have never had to pay for two consultation to doctors in the same group. This process seems as a way to extract additional fees from me and my insurance company.

Well, the ambulance took me away good. The hospital was okay. I just didn't get the answers that I would like to have about the fluid on my heart. I would like to know, you know, what causes that. You know, nobody told me. And, you know, when I went to the heart doctor, she said, she had me take a test, but she didn't answer the questions I asked her. Okay, I don't know what her name was. Anyway, I'm alive, but really and truly, the answers just don't come out. Thank you. You want to know anything else?

My experience was not bad. I hade to do lab work. My veins in my arm are tiny. The tech decided to draw blood from the veins on my hand. The procedure was as painful but tolerable. I left the lab, got in the elevator to go down, that's when I looked at my hand and the bandage was full of blood & running down my hand. I Returned to the lab. Another tech removed my badge and there was a large lump at the injection site. She massaged it and explained why this sometimes occur when blood is drawn from the hand with tiny veins. The lump went down & I was advised to keep the bandage on for 40 minutes. I had an appointment at Piedmont Urgent Care & while there the tech checked my hand it looked fine just a large bruise.
