I didn't feel taken seriously. I didn't get information in general what to improve, how to handle things, even if it's not severe, just to improve my quality of life and better my health. So I was disappointed.

I did not need the appointment. It is unclear why the doctor that referred me to gastro did so for hemachromotosis. The gastro md and I discussed this mistake. Spoke briefly about hemachromatosis mostly that it is not a gastro Md to discuss it with. The Md even said "I'm sorry I don't have more for you". After I asked about not being charged since no services were rendered. She claimed "we did have a conversation about hemachromotosis" and that there would be a minimal charge. I don't think that right. With the situation she should have removed the charges. This was a complete and utter waste of my time that was not my fault and now I have to pay for it. I have had numerous discouraging experiences with Wellstar and I will avoid it at all costs moving forward.

When waiting for her, it seems like there was an excessively long time to wait. Every time I've been there two or three times, every time it seems as if the appointments are way off and we have to wait a long time. She does take a very long time with each person, apparently, but the wait does seem a bit excessive. But she's very good about answering questions. Her care is excellent. The wait is not too good. That's all.

I realize that insurance dictates practitioners schedules and 15 mins is about all you can expect from an appointment. It's just disappointing that doctors no longer care to ask questions or help patients navigate the possibilities for symptoms. There was no discussion just recommendations for expensive invasive testing.
