The doctor wasn't really helpful and wants me to pay for the referrals to dermatologist and pain management. Meanwhile I have a hiatal hernia and an umbilical hernia, and I asked if she though I needed a referral to general surgery and she said yes. Then she walked out to get the recommendation forms and came back and said I don't need a referral for general surgery. Also she tried telling me that the only symptom for hiatal hernia was acid reflux to which I replied it's causing a lot of nausea. Also she said they didn't treat pain there. Even though I received a prescription for gabapentin and tizanidine at the last visit. To which I asked whether or not that was well stars practice or her preference. She just said "we don't do that here".Really odd and confusing behavior.
