Went for blood test and paid for one to be told after speaking to the nurse practitioner to go back and wait in waiting room. Then told to come back at 1:00 because they were on lunch till then. Then when I came back at 1:00 after going and getting something to eat I was told that oh you need to fast so therefore you need to come in in the morning time and not eat anything for 8 hours. So it's like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing which makes me very uncomfortable.

The Doctor is Very professional and knowledgeable. She has a proactive, thorough, knowledgeable attitude with positive communication , while handling all the challenges. Fearless and humane. I am 67 years old and have never been treated so well and thorough. Thank you.

During my appointment, I felt that the nurse practitioner, Shannon, was condescending in her tone and communication. She did not ask follow-up "why" questions to better understand my responses, which made the visit feel dismissive rather than collaborative. More concerning than the visit itself was the documentation afterward. The chart note was written in an unprofessional, subjective manner and inaccurately portrayed me as noncompliant with my care. As a healthcare provider, I understand the importance of clear, accurate, and objective documentation, particularly because medical records directly impact ongoing and future care. Had clarifying questions been asked during the visit, the reasons behind my decisions would have been clear. I agreed with and specifically requested the dose decrease of my medication, yet this was omitted from the chart. The documentation instead inaccurately characterizes me as noncompliant and portrays this as the reason my dosage was decreased. This misrepresentation is unacceptable and could have implications for future care. Overall, I found both the communication and documentation to fall well below professional standards. I would like to note that the front desk staff and medical assistant were kind, professional, and pleasant, as they always are.
