My provider is wonderful and amazing, she has great bedside manners. Easy to communicate with and I look forward to appointments with Colvin anytime. However, front desk, and check in staff doing vital could use some personality and customer service awareness. They are dry, unwelcoming, uninterested and lack luster in how they connect and communicate with patients. This has been a huge struggle for this practice for years. Their were a few good ones over the years, but it is obviously poorer now. Front desk rep acting annoyed at our presence as as if they shouldn't be interrupted while using their personal devices. Appointments can never be accessed via the my chart website and calling in is a huge deterrent. So we have to track the provider down personally on whatever medium to get scheduled in the office. Terrible. For an OB office, this needs to be addressed. Patient coming in wants warm, welcome feeling and empathetic caring feel from all parties they come in contact with. I wish to see that charge at some point. I have been a patient of this practice for over 10 years and I come in tolerate the poor Front desk service only to make it to Shannon Colvin-Bently. Thats it. Otherwise, I would be never us this office.

When I arrived, the wonderful ladies at the front desk were so kind and attentive, and I was seen almost immediately. My visit with Dr. Shannon was a refreshing change of pace compared to other providers. She was very thorough in answering my questions and was so understanding, kind, and respectful. I never felt rushed and am looking forward to returning. 10/10!

I do say that when you are constantly seeing a new midwife, every time you come into the doctor's office, it takes away the intimacy or the opportunity for you to build relationship and build a trust and also for your provider to know your, I guess, your idea for birth, your plan, what you would like. It's just, it seems really brief at times. So overall, the professionalism, the ladies are joyful, they're sweet, but just more intimacy would be nice.
