I admit that I was late for appointment. I was unable to answer and missed my scheduled appointment because I entered wrong date/time on my calendar. Dr. Patel is a great doctor but I asked to increase my dose since Ive had 12.5 for past 8-10 weeks. I messaged her and she asked me to make an earlier appointment to get my dose changed. These appointment cost $104.50 each and since I just talked to her 5 minutes prior to the message, she requested scheduling an appointment. I did not like this.

The set up for this practice is divorced from the rest of my medical care and does not appear to consider the entire range of symptoms I experienced on the weight loss medication nor the symptoms related to the medical issues I am trying to solve with weight loss. The exercise specialist (an earlier visit) was unable to answer any of my questions related to being an older overweight woman. The dietician (an earlier visit) was information I already had. Based on the dietician's description of the behaviorist's approach, it seems highly unlikely that specialist will be able to assist. I'm sure this practice is effective for some folks. I am not one of them.

The doctor I dealt with was pretty great, but the nurse I dealt with who took my measurements and spoke with me beforehand wasn't so great with patient care. And I didn't feel heard as much as I usually do in both of my interactions.
