This was my fourth meeting with Sejal and I expressed my frustration with my weight loss during our session. I didn't feel heard, validated or understood during our time. I felt she was providing scripted responses that did not feel helpful or even relevant to my concerns. She was polite but once I expressed my frustration and told her it wasn't helpful, she mentioned "I don't know what to say" as if she couldn't understand or even empathize with my frustration. This is a weight management clinic where many, such as myself, have had life long struggles with managing our weight and as a specialist in this area, I expect a provider to be empathic, understanding and supportive rather than immediately providing correction and criticism. I did not find the interaction helpful and will be asking to see another provider.

I spent $280 for half ass care. I could have gotten a prescription over the phone very easily from a different provider for much LESS MONEY! Doctor knew what I needed but refused to help. I obviously needed a lancing procedure done... But said she could not do it. I will NEVER use "WellSTAR" again. I was in dire need of help. Got the run around..... JOKE!

She was very understanding and gave me a different perspective on how I was viewing my health/body. She provided me with information, guidance and encouragement, for me to make informed decisions . I also appreciated her directness...it was honest and caring. It was overall a great experience.

I just really appreciate how supportive schedules. She always explains options. She explains what my concerns are. She's looking at how my life works into the picture of like my whole health. And she really takes a whole health standpoint. And I really appreciate that. I value it. And it's great from a health literacy standpoint to be able to connect patients with how everything in their life is impacting their health and the things they need to focus on.
