My experience at Wellstar Douglas Hospital was very, very good. My doctor, Dr. Patel, made sure I received all the resources I needed during a very difficult time in my life. As I am going through a lot emotionally, he took the time to talk with me, support me, and guide me toward the help I need moving forward. Thank you, Dr. Patel. You have been truly kind and supportive to me, and I deeply appreciate everything you've done.

Dr. Patel all the nurses all the techs are great! Everyone is kind, empathetic, knowledgeable. The ladies at the front desk always welcome you with the great smile , they are so personable. I have been going to this practice for over twenty years.I would not go anywhere else. Doctor patel is extremely patient,listening and hearing All of your concerns and issues.

Dr. Patel is professional, listens well, shares knowledge, and has a very pleasant disposition. Further, as the primary caregiver for my wife, who is recovering from a stroke, I ask a lot of questions. Dr. Patel responds to my questions in a timely manner even our questions submitted via MyChart. He provides the pros/cons of treatment options which allows you to participate in your own care by making informed decisions. In addition to being my spouse's PCP, I switched to Dr. Patel as my PCP too. In closing, I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and his nursing & administrative team to my family, friends, and business associates.

I've seen Dr. Patel for 15 years now and I always feel like I'm seeing family when I go in for my visits. He truly cares about his patients and has their best interest at heart. I moved 5 years ago but still make the drive to see him because it's hard to find doctors who make you feel like they care.

The scheduling receptionist that answered the phone was very rude. I called because my appointment was scheduled under my old provider, and when I told the receptionist she tried to tell me that the doctor I saw was only doing my old provider a favor. And that I was not getting established with my new provider. She had no idea about my appointment or cared to ask. She immediately made assumptions about my visit. And gave me an attitude when I tried to tell her. I was very upset be because it took me months to get an appointment to switch providers, and I had already discussed with the office manager why I wanted a new provider. I cannot believe Wellstar would have a scheduling receptionist treat patients so badly. After she hung up on me, another receptionist called me back that was friendly, and polite. She fixed my issue with no hesitation.

I've been a patient for many years but now the parking availability is an issue. I had to drive around to find a nearby parking space. I was shocked at how empty my doctor's waiting room and offices were so I'm not entirely sure why the parking lot was so full without available spaces. This is a big issue that needs to be addressed as it's not a one time issue.
