I need to repeat my treatment within a month but I haven't got the next appointment. I travel from New Jersey for the treatment. I need to make my travel plans for next month but I don't have the dates. Please help me by scheduling my next appointment so I can complete my treatment at Wellstar.

Very slooow waited 2 hours in a exam room ? crazy slow. I got up a few times and ask what was going on. Then I got up a third time and said oh no this is not acceptable ? The nurses said oh! We forgot about you. ? should not take all day to see the Doctor.

Dr Rao and his medical team are excellent. They are caring, smart, efficient, and follow up. The patient is their primary concern and they do their job better than anyone. Administration of the wellstar website and scheduling needs a lot of work. You get a text that says call to confirm, you call and no one ever answers. When they call back eventually and you tell them I called a week ago, they say I have not gotten to those messages yet, A WEEK LATER? What used to be a finely tuned process with Augusta Medical is now a total mess administratively with Well star. Having posters up that say "medical contractors work here and we are not responsible for their performance" is insane. You go to a hospital and expect responsible care from all! I am not asking each person, are you and outside contractor for wellstar.

Hi, my visit was very nice because doctor is extremely good. I am very happy with Dr. Satish Rao who is my healthcare provider. That went very well because he did many tests and he found out the root cause. But the problem with Wellstar Healthcare is reaching out healthcare provider is becoming very challenging. Staff is not at all cooperative. Even when I post any questions on my chart, I am not getting any response. I am highly disappointed with this. That is the major issue I am facing. So please try to improve this process because reaching them, even if I call them or if I call any staff, none of them is responding. Even on my chart, when I am posting any questions related to my medical prescription or anything, medical questions, I am not getting any response at all. So I am highly disappointed with the process.

I had a referral to have a glucose test in Dr. Rao's department, which determined that I have SIBO. I was informed that results would be sent to my gastroenterologist in Aiken so he could prescribe antibiotics for treatment. There were not sent. I had to call Dr. Rao's department twice to get them to send the results. A week or so later, Dr. Rao's office called to schedule an appointment for me. I asked why and scheduler did not know. The said Dr. Rao had added an extra clinic day and I was one of the patients he wanted to see. I agreed to the appointment because Dr. Rao is an expert and I thought he might provide helpful information. Appointment was scheduled for 8:15 and reminder text told me to arrive at 8:00. I checked in at about 8:05. After med tech checked by bp and temp, I was in exam room at about 8:30. I saw the resident at about 8:45. Dr. Rao's resident said she couldn't tell me why the appointment was scheduled and that it looks like it was a mistake. She said I could leave if I wanted as Dr. Rao still had many other patients to see. I didn't want to be charged for a visit when I did not see the doctor. I was told by the clinic staff that the visit could not be cancelled because the medical staff had recorded my bp and temp. I needed to go back to the check in desk, which I did. The check in desk said that they could not cancel the appointment because I had been seen by medical staff. I figured if I was going to be charged for the visit, I might as well see Dr. Rao. I sat in the exam room until 10:15 and still did not see Dr. Rao. No one could tell me how much longer it would be until I saw Dr. Rao. Since this was two hours after my appointment start time, I was disgusted with the wait and left. Now, I will have to fight with the billing department when I get charged for the visit. There seem to be several issues with the office, starting with how appointments are scheduled and which patients are seen. I'm curious to see what level of patient exam I will be billed at.

I was completely satisfied with Dr. Raul. He was very attentive. I loved his bedside manner. The only thing I would change is the time that it takes to be able to get follow-up appointments and tests because I am out of state. I am in Kentucky. So it's a very long drive. Also, The person checking in was very kind. The first one, the other one, was not very kind. But I will say that the nurses and the medical assistants and them were very, very kind. But I will say that Dr. Raul was extremely attentive, very kind, and I definitely would recommend other people to him. I just wish I could get, you know, in my appointments a little bit faster.

Dr. Rao is a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable physician. He's the best GI I've ever been to. The front desk staff were kind. The nurse who took us back to the room was also kind and efficient. I had to have an EKG and that nurse was uncaring and in my opinion unprofessional. Also- there were no gowns provided and I felt on display- there was no dignity. Granted, an ekg requires one to remove their shirt but a gown that opens in the front should be provided. I will never go back there and allow an ekg to be done. Ever. Dr. Rao is amazing but the support staff from this visit and in years past have not been good. I would never allow them to take care of me- or have any procedures done. There needs to be more training for support staff and it's also difficult to make an appointment. That process has always been a headache.

I agreed to the appointment because Dr. Rao is an expert and I thought he might provide helpful information. Appointment was scheduled for 8:15 and reminder text told me to arrive at 8:00. I checked in at about 8:05. After med tech checked by bp and temp, I was in exam room at about 8:30. I saw the resident at about 8:45. Dr. Rao's resident said she couldn't tell me why the appointment was scheduled and that it looks like it was a mistake. She said I could leave if I wanted as Dr. Rao still had many other patients to see. I didn't want to be charged for a visit when I did not see the doctor. I was told by the clinic staff that the visit could not be cancelled because the medical staff had recorded my bp and temp. I needed to go back to the check in desk, which I did. The check in desk said that they could not cancel the appointment because I had been seen by medical staff. I figured if I was going to be charged for the visit, I might as well see Dr. Rao. I sat in the exam room until 10:15 and still did not see Dr. Rao. No one could tell me how much longer it would be until I saw Dr. Rao. Since this was two hours after my appointment start time, I was disgusted with the wait and left. Now, I will have to fight with the billing department when I get charged for the visit. There seem to be several issues with the office, starting with how appointments are scheduled and which patients are seen. I'm curious to see what level of patient exam I will be billed at.

I was completely satisfied with Dr. Raul. He was very attentive. I loved his bedside manner. The only thing I would change is the time that it takes to be able to get follow-up appointments and tests because I am out of state. I am in Kentucky. So it's a very long drive. Also, The person checking in was very kind. The first one, the other one, was not very kind. But I will say that the nurses and the medical assistants and them were very, very kind. But I will say that Dr. Raul was extremely attentive, very kind, and I definitely would recommend other people to him. I just wish I could get, you know, in my appointments a little bit faster.

Dr. Rao is a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable physician. He's the best GI I've ever been to. The front desk staff were kind. The nurse who took us back to the room was also kind and efficient. I had to have an EKG and that nurse was uncaring and in my opinion unprofessional. Also- there were no gowns provided and I felt on display- there was no dignity. Granted, an ekg requires one to remove their shirt but a gown that opens in the front should be provided. I will never go back there and allow an ekg to be done. Ever. Dr. Rao is amazing but the support staff from this visit and in years past have not been good. I would never allow them to take care of me- or have any procedures done. There needs to be more training for support staff and it's also difficult to make an appointment. That process has always been a headache.

I had a referral to have a glucose test in Dr. Rao's department, which determined that I have SIBO. I was informed that results would be sent to my gastroenterologist in Aiken so he could prescribe antibiotics for treatment. There were not sent. I had to call Dr. Rao's department twice to get them to send the results. A week or so later, Dr. Rao's office called to schedule an appointment for me. I asked why and scheduler did not know. The said Dr. Rao had added an extra clinic day and I was one of the patients he wanted to see. Hi, my visit was very nice because doctor is extremely good. I am very happy with Dr. Satish Rao who is my healthcare provider. That went very well because he did many tests and he found out the root cause. But the problem with Wellstar Healthcare is reaching out healthcare provider is becoming very challenging. Staff is not at all cooperative. Even when I post any questions on my chart, I am not getting any response. I am highly disappointed with this. That is the major issue I am facing. So please try to improve this process because reaching them, even if I call them or if I call any staff, none of them is responding. Even on my chart, when I am posting any questions related to my medical prescription or anything, medical questions, I am not getting any response at all. So I am highly disappointed with the process.

Dr Rao and his medical team are excellent. They are caring, smart, efficient, and follow up. The patient is their primary concern and they do their job better than anyone. Administration of the wellstar website and scheduling needs a lot of work. You get a text that says call to confirm, you call and no one ever answers. When they call back eventually and you tell them I called a week ago, they say I have not gotten to those messages yet, A WEEK LATER? What used to be a finely tuned process with Augusta Medical is now a total mess administratively with Well star. Having posters up that say "medical contractors work here and we are not responsible for their performance" is insane. You go to a hospital and expect responsible care from all! I am not asking each person, are you and outside contractor for wellstar.

Very slooow waited 2 hours in a exam room ? crazy slow. I got up a few times and ask what was going on. Then I got up a third time and said oh no this is not acceptable ? The nurses said oh! We forgot about you. ? should not take all day to see the Doctor.

Dr. Rao is extremely knowledgeable and caring . Everyone was professional- great bedside manner and nice. But it seems that they are short staffed. I need to repeat my treatment within a month but I haven't got the next appointment. I travel from New Jersey for the treatment. I need to make my travel plans for next month but I don't have the dates. Please help me by scheduling my next appointment so I can complete my treatment at Wellstar.
