This is the second time that I had an appointment with Dr. Rao. First time was great. This time I saw his intern or resident who asked many questions and and did a brief exam. Dr Rao was 3 hours late and only spent about 5 minutes with me.

Dr. Rao is a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable physician. He's the best GI I've ever been to. The front desk staff were kind. The nurse who took us back to the room was also kind and efficient. I had to have an EKG and that nurse was uncaring and in my opinion unprofessional. Also- there were no gowns provided and I felt on display- there was no dignity. Granted, an ekg requires one to remove their shirt but a gown that opens in the front should be provided. I will never go back there and allow an ekg to be done. Ever. Dr. Rao is amazing but the support staff from this visit and in years past have not been good. I would never allow them to take care of me- or have any procedures done. There needs to be more training for support staff and it's also difficult to make an appointment. That process has always been a headache.
