Yeah, the staff was really good talking with Dr. Decoons. You know, he told me what was going on. He showed me the MRI, explained the unusual predicament of what was going on with my knee. And he ran me through a list of options. He told me all options were available, but then he narrowed it down to why he would recommend these options and not the other. He was very forthright with me, made me feel comfortable, and I appreciate his time.

I'm just a little nervous about having rotor cuff surgery because I've heard a lot of horror stories and I don't feel like I felt 100% that it was going to be okay. So that is the reason I ranked the way I did. But overall, experience before my surgery was amazing. Thank you.

Although everyone was EXTREMELY helpful, I found the wait time to be a bit excessive. Being asked to arrive 15 prior to my appointment time yet leaving almost two hours after my appointment time was insane. While I understand I'm not the only patient, I feel like my time was not valued today. I've had three other appointments within the Wellstar community prior to this appointment but this one was the only one that took this long to be seen.

This is a workman's comp case and I feel like I'm getting the bare minimum care. Especially when the residents come in and don't know anything about me or my case. I thought the residents had to be accompanied by the attending? A resident is not qualified to treat complex issues that come through Orthopedics.
