Prior to my appointment, there was a "pre payment" option of an "estimate." I was called 30 min before my appt by a staff member from the office telling me to pay. I said I would try to pay online. The receptionist said "okay" and hung up on me. Not two minutes later, a different staff member called attempting to collect, unaware she was the second person to call. There was no mention that this was a required payment before my appointment- as I always pay the bill after insurance, as I have high coverage options. The "pre payment option" is always more than my actual bill. When I went online to pay, the only option was to join the visit. There was no option to pre pay once the window started. This further confirms the pre payment option was not a Wellstar requirement as the office staff member claimed. Then I was sent a message from a staff member with no option to reply that my provider would not join the call until I paid. I attempted to contact the office and was on hold for 15+ minutes (which is now eating into my appointment time) before I sent the provider a message that the office staff was not answering the phones and I was on hold trying to pay - only then was I given a call back and I ended up pre paying over the phone. This was ridiculous. I have never had to pre pay before due to my insurance. If I am owed a refund, I hope it will be processed speedily because the estimate is always more than I end up being required to pay. Furthermore, the staff should not be allowed to send messages that patients aren't allowed to reply to, should not be double calling patients right before a virtual appointment, especially when the appointment window has started. The provider is great, but the office staff does not reflect that same standard.

Friendly and fast! I was taken back right at my scheduled appointment time, all my concerns were addressed thoroughly, and our plan moving forward was communicated very well. It was easy to schedule the follow-up and I was heading to my car within 30 minutes of my arrival time. I've never been to such a streamlined and effective neurologist practice!

They were very helpful, very easy to work with and to speak with, understood me, though I have an accent, and understood what my concerns were. And I'm happy to return to this facility, to the facility for further medical assistance. Thank you.

Friendly and fast! I was taken back right at my scheduled appointment time, all my concerns were addressed thoroughly, and our plan moving forward was communicated very well. It was easy to schedule the follow-up and I was heading to my car within 30 minutes of my arrival time. I've never been to such a streamlined and effective neurologist practice!

Prior to my appointment, there was a "pre payment" option of an "estimate." I was called 30 min before my appt by a staff member from the office telling me to pay. I said I would try to pay online. The receptionist said "okay" and hung up on me. Not two minutes later, a different staff member called attempting to collect, unaware she was the second person to call. There was no mention that this was a required payment before my appointment- as I always pay the bill after insurance, as I have high coverage options. The "pre payment option" is always more than my actual bill. When I went online to pay, the only option was to join the visit. There was no option to pre pay once the window started. This further confirms the pre payment option was not a Wellstar requirement as the office staff member claimed. Then I was sent a message from a staff member with no option to reply that my provider would not join the call until I paid. I attempted to contact the office and was on hold for 15+ minutes (which is now eating into my appointment time) before I sent the provider a message that the office staff was not answering the phones and I was on hold trying to pay - only then was I given a call back and I ended up pre paying over the phone. This was ridiculous. I have never had to pre pay before due to my insurance. If I am owed a refund, I hope it will be processed speedily because the estimate is always more than I end up being required to pay. Furthermore, the staff should not be allowed to send messages that patients aren't allowed to reply to, should not be double calling patients right before a virtual appointment, especially when the appointment window has started. The provider is great, but the office staff does not reflect that same standard.
