100% of the staff that I have encountered at WSMCG (particularly the children's hospital) are incredible, from office staff to physicians and everyone in between. However, Wellstar in and of itself has made what appear to be negative changes to the hospital. Please consider the patients as your first priority, not the amount of revenue the hospital can make each year. I realize that healthcare is a business, but things have changed negatively since Wellstar took over both for me (and friends) as a patient and for your staff (I have heard this from multiple people....personal friends who are Wellstar MDs and from very friendly and honest staff admin staff at the children's hospital). I hesitate to leave negative feedback as our actual experience with your staff is always fantastic. But the billing is wild.
