Dr. Lee trained in general cardiothoracic surgery at Washington University and in advanced cardiac therapy and heart transplant at the Cleveland Clinic. He has worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was the CT fellowship director. Dr. Lee was previously at Saint Louis University, where he was co-director of cardiology and cardiac surgery. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles and has served as chair of several committees for the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association.

From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, everyone was so kind and professional. I was in for a very serious consultation for Cardiac Surgery with Dr. Lee and his team. As scary as this is, the total expertise and care from this team made me feel important and cared for. Dr. Lee told me the dangers of this procedure, which he must. However, he also gave me strong hope and said that this operation would make me live longer and live better. I could ask for nothing more. With him, and his amazing team, Robin being my main POC, I am at peace and not afraid. I also know my Lord is with him and his team.

The wait was way too long. The appointment was at 2:45 but we weren't called back until after 4 pm. Did not leave the office until 5:30. We required assistance getting into the car, but by the time we were leaving,the office was empty. Thank goodness there were some staff who were still there to help.
