From the moment my mom and I walked in, every single person made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. I came in feeling scared and nervous, but the front desk staff, the nurse who took my weight and blood pressure, my doctor, and the sonogram nurse were all absolutely amazing. They took the time to listen to me, answer all my questions, and explain everything step by step. We received wonderful news, and this was the first time my baby girl showed us ALL her organs, her spine, her beautiful little face, and even her smile! ?? It was such a special and emotional experience, and I am so grateful to have had such an amazing team there to share that moment with us. The sonogram nurse was incredible, and I truly believe this team has the most amazing energy! And I have to give a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Dr. Johnson, who went above and BEYONDDDD! After my mom and I had already left, Dr. Johnson realized she needed to ask me one last question. She was so determined to make sure I fully understood my rights and all the procedures available to me that she literally chased us down three floors, out the door, and into the parking lot! ??? That level of dedication, compassion, and commitment to making sure a patient is informed is something I will NEVER forget. As a first-time mom, having a medical team that listens, explains, reassures, and genuinely cares makes all the difference in the world. They helped turn my fear and nervousness into comfort, confidence, and excitement. To the entire Wellstar Maternal-Fetal Medicine team: THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I went last time and they told me to come back weekly for my babies, but they're both healthy. I asked if coming weekly would affect my daughters' weight, and they said no, so I don't understand! Why bring me back weekly? I don't think it's really necessary! The reception staff are always 5 stars.

I understand that I was referred to a high risk doctor but I did not appreciate everything being spoken about as if it was high risk by the doctor. I also don't think it's appropriate for a doctor to say to a pregnant patient that there is a risk of stillbirth as this provider did to me. I did not enjoy the way this doctor spoke to me and I hope to never have to see her again.
