About Paul Guichard, DO
A native of California, Dr. Guichard graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a major in biochemistry and cell biology. He received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He completed his residency and both general cardiology and interventional fellowships at the University of Cincinnati. Dr Guichard was also on faculty at the University of Cincinnati as a Clinical Instructor.
He is board certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Special interests include acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and preventative cardiology. Dr Guichard is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is on staff at Wellstar Kennestone hospital.

Parking to visit this location for medical care is atrocious! Valet Parking is usually full by 8:15 AM. Most cardiology patients are elderly and cannot walk from other parking lots.

Good afternoon. The doctor's office was very clean, very organized. The staff was very welcoming. I actually had a good time while I was there. They made me feel very comfortable and most importantly, the treatment was top tier. So I definitely appreciate it. I look forward to my next appointment. And also Lisa, who is at the front desk, is also wonderful asset, very good customer service skills, just very caring and compassionate. So again, Dr. Guchard is wonderful. And we appreciate so much him just understanding and ask his kindness and explaining everything to us as far as answering all of our questions. Would definitely recommend him to any other friends or family. And also Lisa at the front desk is just wonderful as far as scheduling the appointments and all.

The only issue was I checked in at 7:45, but someone dropped the ball and I missed by 08:00 appointment. Dr. Guichard saw me after 08:30.

I had a very good experience with the doctor and staff. My biggest issue is the amount of time I stood on line waiting to be checked in...I was on line for 25 minutes and that was do to the fact that there was only 1 staff member at the desk ...not only was she handling check ins but scheduling appointments for those that needed one... you had elderly people on that line with walkers and canes standing just as long as I was and they were just as annoyed....you have to design a better way for people to check in or schedule appointments. Having 1 employee at the desk is not the solution and it does not make for a good experience .
