The staff in the wound care unit in the hospital green tower are excellent. The entire wound team including doctors, nurse practitioners and residents are all outstanding. Today was my 3rd stay in a month in the hospital. Very rapid coordination and connection with the wound clinic at 55 Whitcher Street. Made friends and found very caring people. It's not easy as the patient when experiencing bad pain. Kennestone has a huge number of employees. Far more than Northside where my prior family experience was. It was truly amazing how many people came by to check on me all day long. It's an amazingly well run facility. I was immensely surprised the first time. It far exceeded my expectations. By my third stay, though overnight only, it felt like family - it really did. Many thanks to all, too numerous to mention. I felt like everyone in the entire hospital knew me and my story including people in surgery who were meeting me for the first time. I had 3 separate procedures for debridement of a serious wound. They move fast. The anesthesiologists were also very caring and certain I was comfortable. I've moved all over the world and rate this hospital superior to others with a globally known ranking, for what I need. Even the valet team was very kind as I was admitted immediately for surgery right after a checkup. They bent the procedures to accommodate me.
