Dr. Ward is an amazing physician. All of the physicians at that practice are great. The only issue that I have is how the front desk staff are when checking in patients. They're not very friendly. They're not very, I can't think of the name, the word, I'm sorry, but they're just, they're not very friendly. And Yeah, I just, that's one of the reasons I don't like going there is because of the front desk staff at that location. But the physicians are amazing.

Dr Ward is a phenomenal doctor. I trust her completely and feel like she values what I say as a mom. This balance is so difficult to find with doctors. She is absolutely invaluable to your practice and if she ever leaves we would find a new pediatricians office to visit.

This comment has nothing to do with Dr. Ward or her staff and should not in any way be held against them. A $20 charge to an established patient for a nurse visit to hand a patient a urine cup and run a point of care u/a is excessive. This is a corporate healthcare nickel and dime decision by Wellstar and encourages patients to seek care elsewhere. We spent less than 60 seconds face to face with a nurse today - rapid visits are great. I imagine < 2 minutes was spent pending and sending a u/a, ucx order to dr ward and running the poc urinalysis doesn't take long either (should be part of the overhead cost). BCBS won't cover this fee for AU employees - we often cannot seek reasonably covered care at the very institution we work at any longer. Perhaps reconsider the charges your own Wellstar affiliates incur at your facilities to avoid losing even more employees than you already have. Wellstar can do better. They are lucky to have docs like Dr. Ward and her staff. As much $ has been paid out of my pocket to Wellstar this year for pediatric care - not covered by our insurance and not going to my deductible- a u/a, ucx nurse visit is a very small ask and shouldn't be a fee for service scenario- can't wait to see what the lab charges me next to run the urine culture ... AU can do better too- provide options that cover our needs at Wellstar.

I trust her judgement and know that if she doesn't know the answer to a question that we have, she will make sure that we get the right consult to address any issue we've ever brought to her. She's thorough, attentive, empathetic, the best active listener, and genuinely cares about each and every one of her patients. Dr. Ward is such a fantastic physician. Wellstar is so lucky to have someone like her at West Wheeler pediatrics. She's the best of the best and I tell everyone I know how much we love our pediatrician!

This comment has nothing to do with Dr. Ward or her staff and should not in any way be held against them. A $20 charge to an established patient for a nurse visit to hand a patient a urine cup and run a point of care u/a is excessive. This is a corporate healthcare nickel and dime decision by Wellstar and encourages patients to seek care elsewhere. We spent less than 60 seconds face to face with a nurse today - rapid visits are great. I imagine < 2 minutes was spent pending and sending a u/a, ucx order to dr ward and running the poc urinalysis doesn't take long either (should be part of the overhead cost). BCBS won't cover this fee for AU employees - we often cannot seek reasonably covered care at the very institution we work at any longer. Perhaps reconsider the charges your own Wellstar affiliates incur at your facilities to avoid losing even more employees than you already have. Wellstar can do better. They are lucky to have docs like Dr. Ward and her staff. As much $ has been paid out of my pocket to Wellstar this year for pediatric care - not covered by our insurance and not going to my deductible- a u/a, ucx nurse visit is a very small ask and shouldn't be a fee for service scenario- can't wait to see what the lab charges me next to run the urine culture ... AU can do better too- provide options that cover our needs at Wellstar.

Dr Ward is a phenomenal doctor. I trust her completely and feel like she values what I say as a mom. This balance is so difficult to find with doctors. She is absolutely invaluable to your practice and if she ever leaves we would find a new pediatricians office to visit.

Dr. Ward is always kind and considerate and listens. She makes eye contact during her conversation and assessment of the patient. She makes the parents of the patient feel heard. We appreciate her so much.

Dr. Paige Ward has been my doctor since I was in 1st grade. Unfortunately, this was my last appointment with her because I turn 21 next year. She has been the best doctor I've ever seen. She listens and included me in all conversations from the beginning. Me and my family appreciate her. Thanks for being the best doctor ever!

Dr. Ward is an amazing physician. I appreciate her bedside manners, her concern, and the time that she takes to explain things to me as the parent, as well as the child, to make sure the child also understands what's being told during the appointment. Dr. Ward is an amazing physician. All of the physicians at that practice are great. The only issue that I have is how the front desk staff are when checking in patients. They're not very friendly. They're not very, I can't think of the name, the word, I'm sorry, but they're just, they're not very friendly. And Yeah, I just, that's one of the reasons I don't like going there is because of the front desk staff at that location. But the physicians are amazing.
