About Osagie Okundaye, MD
Dr. Okundaye is board-certified in cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He completed his residency and a cardiology fellowship at Columbia University, Harlem Hospital along with a cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University School of Medicine.
Dr. Okundaye’s special interests include cardiac imaging and coronary angiography.
He joined Wellstar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in November 2009 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Okundaye is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.

The nurse that took my blood pressure and my weight and all that ushered me in from the waiting station into the room was really really nice. Had a pleasant, very pleasant personality and a natural way about her. I wrote her a card so that she could put it on her poster or something and Dr. O was really happy and in a good mood as he always has been with me and the lady upfront at the hostess desk did a fantastic job as well. I gave you all all tens and look forward to my next meeting appointment.
