I love the care I receive. Olga especially stands out to me because she is amazing. I've recommended this office to many people already. My sister is actually being seen for prenatal care here now

The nurse did not seem highly educated like the other nurses that I've seen on staff. She had trouble answering questions, that would have been typical for her to answer. Very basic questions about blood testing.

Olga was absolutely FANTASTIC at my 36 appt yesterday. She was so kind, warming, I didn't feel rushed at my visit. I would love for whoever is in charge to know how fantastic she was!

The providers and staff are incredible. The hospital policies, especially the ones on masks and childhood vaccinations, show that Wellstar as an entity may not be able to be trusted.

The only negative is the room I was in looked dirty. It looked like something spilled/splash on the cabinets.

I think that some improvements could be to have a list of questions that patients have asked over the course of their time, working there from their history. As a new pregnant soon to be Mom. It's a little overwhelming with all the information on the internet and sometimes I forget the questions I want to ask. Even if I write them down, they don't always seem pertinent. I also wish there was more information on pelvic floor, Healthcare and stretches, and strengthening to promote a more healthy labor, which is important to me. I'm sure it's important to others and I wish there was more discussion or time to discuss and be educated from the OBs and midwife's on that.

My overall experience was positive, but I just want to make a note regarding the postpartum depression screener. After both of my pregnancies I have had symptoms of PPD that were not insignificant to me but not severe enough to escalate care. Each time, a nurse has asked me the questions, seen that the screener doesn't suggest additional treatment, and moved on. After my last pregnancy I had more severe symptoms and I actually told the nurse that I WAS concerned about my mental health. After administering the screener she said, "Well the computer doesn't show that you need additional care," and it was never mentioned again. I wasn't bold enough to advocate for myself further at that point. My symptoms are much more manageable this pregnancy, but still present. I responded that I was sad "most of the time" but I did not have suicidal ideation and the nurse today said, "Perfect!" and moved on. I feel like at some point we forgot that the women on the other side of the PPD screener are humans and regardless of what the points add up to, anyone who just told you that they're sad all the time warrants a look in the eye and some genuine humanity. Even just saying, "I'm sorry to hear that," gives some validation to tough feelings. For the record, the midwife and her student did ask me if I had adequate support, which I appreciated. I am overall happy with my care today. I just don't want other moms to ever feel like even their mild depression or anxiety doesn't matter because it doesn't trip a screener.
