I was very impressed, how professional, how detailed she explained to me. When I got there, I was worried, concerned. I really walked out of that office, satisfied with her professionalism, and how she explained to me. Great battle, the best.

I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Kershteyn and she was over 10 minutes late to joining the appointment call. I had asked for the appointment for a medication refill and immediately upon joining, she was essentially implying that I did not need to see her or making it seem she was not engage in my treatment because she kept stating that I could just schedule an appointment with my PCP instead of with her. As well, through seeing Dr. Kershteyn over the past year, I feel like she does not truly listen to me or understand me as a patient. During our appointments, there were several times I told her I had made significant progress in my recovery but she would constantly dismiss my statements and make backhand comments about me not taking my recovery "serious" because I was choosing to use other methods of treatment other than the ones she had recommend. This was very discouraging and disappointing to hear from someone who is supposed to assisting me in my recovery but often I felt myself in a worse mental state than I was previously after speaking with her. As well, she would tell me not to go to certain places or do certain things despite me telling her that I have zero history of those places/activities impacting or having influence on me relapsing in my recovery. So overall, I wanted to say that I feel that Dr. Kershteyn needs to spend more time sincerely listening to her patients to understand their specific journeys in recovery and then understand and speak to that their are multiple methods available for treatment and encourage them to find/use the one that best suits them.

I scheduled an appointment to receive an ADHD assessment, asked before I scheduled to confirm that I was calling the correct place, but was told during the visit that there is no one within Wellstar that does them. It's quite frustrating because I already see a psychiatrist for medications and only scheduled this appointment for a specific reason. The front office and clinical staff were very nice but I will not be returning. My other psychiatrist is a better fit for my personal needs and is free through spring health
