About Nilay Patel, MD
Dr. Patel received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine. He subsequently completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Keck Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy Association of North America.

I would just like to say that my experience at WellStar Paulding Orthopedic Surgery went well. I appreciate all the staff members from the orthopedic doctor, Dr. Patel, everyone that assisted in my surgery, from the nurse, the anesthesiologist, everyone that, like I say, that worked along with him with my surgery. I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend their service to my family and friends. And again, I appreciate everything they did and answered all my questions and they showed great concern.
