This was the excellent service that Wellstar is known for. Everyone is polite, respectful, kind and knowledgeable. I was told what to do if the fever or symptoms persisted after the medicine was complete return to the office. Unfortunately 18 hours later, the symptoms got significantly more severe and I went to the ER with shortness of breath, horrid cough with rattling mucus and inability to swallow. I will be in the hospital for 5 days as there is an underlying bacterial infection that is throughout the body. I have a Procalcitonin of 2.4 and Atelectsis. ( lung issue) . So to sum it up, I have Epstein Barr on top of flu b on top of systemic bacterial infection. So what would have been a better way to diagnosis this and allow physicians to provide the correct diagnosis. Please note that told all of the service providers that I have Epstein Barr. Thank you for your time.

I realize this doesn't matter at this point because Dr. Patel is leaving the practice, but when I scheduled my physical, she was supposed to do my pelvic exam and pap smear as well. And she ended up just basically convincing me to be referred for a gynecological visit instead of having it done then. And then when I got home and tried to make the appointment, I found out that it's going to be like months before I can get in somewhere. So I was very disappointed because now my care is going to be delayed by several months when I could have had it taken care of right then. So that's it.
