I wish I could give her a 15/10. She not only listened to me, she heard me. She gave me her full attention and understood not only what I was saying but also what I wasn't. She made it clear we're going to work together to get answers and while there's no immediate life-threatening type concern presenting, we still have to solve whatever is at the root of it all. Her patience, professionalism, and empathy are second to none. First time in the past 7 months of struggling and self-advocacy I felt like I finally have found someone who understood and cares enough to help. I didn't feel dismissed; I felt supported. That was profound.

She touched on other health issues with which I might be dealing, issues beyond the scope of gastrointestinal but important to my overall health. My wife and I both have chronic gastro issues (that are mostly under control) and we are very glad to now have the same gastro doctor--one that is fully invested in our current and ongoing health status. I'd highly recommend Dr. Khakoo to anyone seeking knowledgeable input on gastrointestinal issues.
