It was timely and me care was handled by caring professionals. I didn't know what to expect but I had hoped for a little more care about my situation. But I guess really not much can be said about diarrhea. Overall my experience was very good.

I just want to say that Dr. Khakoo is the most selfless, caring, informative, and understanding doctor I have ever had and I have had a lot of great doctors, no matter what I was being seen for. She took her time to listen to me and truly understand what I was experiencing. As easy as it would have been for her to sit me down, listen to a few things, tell me what she thought I needed, and send me on my way, she didn't do that. She allowed me to elaborate on everything I was feeling and provided constructive, informative feedback on everything I said. As a patient, that meant so much because it allowed me to understand every detail of what was going on and each situation I explained to her. I have never had such a great experience with a doctor before. This is one of the first times I have left an appointment with no unanswered questions and a clear understanding of how to move forward with what I am experiencing. I want to give Dr. Khakoo the biggest kudos because one of the most important things a doctor can do is make their patient feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. She displayed that as well as I have ever seen anyone display it. The medical world needs more Dr. Khakoos! I am incredibly appreciative of her and appreciative of Wellstar for having me this morning. I truly believe everything in life happens for a reason. There were no appointments available anytime soon at the Wellstar location I normally visit, which is why I ended up booking an appointment 45 minutes away from home. However, it may have been the best situation I could have been led to because it gave me the opportunity to have a doctor like Dr. Khakoo.

My experience with Nidah Khakoo at Wellstar Gastroenterology - Cherokee Health Park was absolutely phenomenal. After having a very different experience with another provider recently, seeing her genuinely felt life-changing. From the moment she walked in, she was warm, charismatic, kind, and incredibly attentive. I had done a lot of research and came prepared with questions, concerns, and a detailed history of what I had been experiencing. Instead of dismissing that or making me feel like I was overthinking things, she acknowledged it, validated my concerns, and truly listened. She would ask questions, remember details I had mentioned earlier, and circle back to make sure everything was addressed. She made sure every question I had was answered before the visit was over. I never felt rushed. What meant the most to me was that she respected my desire to take a conservative approach first rather than immediately jumping to an endoscopy. She listened to what I was comfortable with, explained her reasoning, performed a thorough physical examination, and worked with me to develop a plan that I felt comfortable following. As a woman, there have been times when I have felt that my symptoms or concerns were not fully understood or taken seriously in healthcare. I did not feel that way for one second with Nidah. My experience with Nidah Khakoo at Wellstar Gastroenterology - Cherokee Health Park was absolutely phenomenal. After having a very different experience with another provider recently, seeing her genuinely felt life-changing. From the moment she walked in, she was warm, charismatic, kind, and incredibly attentive. I had done a lot of research and came prepared with questions, concerns, and a detailed history of what I had been experiencing. Instead of dismissing that or making me feel like I was overthinking things, she acknowledged it, validated my concerns, and truly listened. She would ask questions, remember details I had mentioned earlier, and circle back to make sure everything was addressed. She made sure every question I had was answered before the visit was over. I never felt rushed. What meant the most to me was that she respected my desire to take a conservative approach first rather than immediately jumping to an endoscopy. She listened to what I was comfortable with, explained her reasoning, performed a thorough physical examination, and worked with me to develop a plan that I felt comfortable following. As a woman, there have been times when I have felt that my symptoms or concerns were not fully understood or taken seriously in healthcare. I did not feel that way for one second with Nidah. She looked me in the face, listened to what I was saying, believed what I was experiencing, and treated me like an active participant in my own care. I am incredibly thankful that I found her. Her kindness, compassion, thoroughness, and willingness to truly listen made such a difference for me. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a gastroenterology provider who genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to understand the whole picture. I just want to say that my appointment today gave me hope. She really listened to what has been going on with me, gave me a treatment plan, and really made me feel like there was hope and life outside of my condition. One of the best gastrointestinal doctors I have seen.

I always know that I will have a great visit with Dr. Khakoo. She really takes the time to listen to you, and reassures you that your health is is her number one concern. When you leave your appointment your well informed of what the plan for your care will be. The Front Desk as well as her Medical Assistant are very pleasant. I highly recommend this practice.

I just want to say that Dr. Khakoo is the most selfless, caring, informative, and understanding doctor I have ever had and I have had a lot of great doctors, no matter what I was being seen for. She took her time to listen to me and truly understand what I was experiencing. As easy as it would have been for her to sit me down, listen to a few things, tell me what she thought I needed, and send me on my way, she didn't do that. She allowed me to elaborate on everything I was feeling and provided constructive, informative feedback on everything I said. As a patient, that meant so much because it allowed me to understand every detail of what was going on and each situation I explained to her. I have never had such a great experience with a doctor before. This is one of the first times I have left an appointment with no unanswered questions and a clear understanding of how to move forward with what I am experiencing. I want to give Dr. Khakoo the biggest kudos because one of the most important things a doctor can do is make their patient feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. She displayed that as well as I have ever seen anyone display it. The medical world needs more Dr. Khakoos! I am incredibly appreciative of her and appreciative of Wellstar for having me this morning. I truly believe everything in life happens for a reason. There were no appointments available anytime soon at the Wellstar location I normally visit, which is why I ended up booking an appointment 45 minutes away from home. However, it may have been the best situation I could have been led to because it gave me the opportunity to have a doctor like Dr. Khakoo.

It was timely and me care was handled by caring professionals. I didn't know what to expect but I had hoped for a little more care about my situation. But I guess really not much can be said about diarrhea. Overall my experience was very good.
