I did not feel that the appointment was rushed, she took a fair amount of time with me. However, I did not see the doctor until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and was told to be there 15 minutes prior to my appointment time.

My wife and I have been with WellStar for over 20 years and we have experienced changes that are not for the better in recent years. Without going into a long list of grievances let's just say there is anecdotal evidence that the growing number of patients is overwhelming to your system.

If your staff do not understand the system How do you expect for the patients to understand your system! I had to talk to my primary care doctor at Piedmont Medical to explain what your staff should have been able to explain. I was just directed to come in and pay they was not concerned about what the patient was saying they was just interested in me paying and then couldn't do what was needed but them give me a bill for 600.00. I am a retired veteran and this is not acceptable. I will speak to the veterans billing department .
