Lot's of changes ! Wait time was over one hour. First time on a visit that I waited so long that other departments were closing for the day and lights were off . Receptionist had left by the time I was leaving. Everybody was apologetic and explained what was going on. Hopefully this was just a fluke in the system and future plans are approved! Still love my care!

Setting up the appointment was more difficult than expected. Office never answered when I called, and when they returned my calls it was always at times I could not answer. Ms. Murphy and her assistant were very pleasant and thorough, and it was a pleasure working with them both.

The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable, and concerned about my health. She offered me things that know other person had done before. She made me feel safe like I was going to be alright. The assistant/tech was very good also she was very concerned about me, was so patient with me. She was able to get my blood drawn with no problem, and I'm a hard person to get blood from. Most places have to use a MRI machine to get my bloodwork.

The provider was extremely thorough and asked if I had any questions and she answered all my questions and concerns. She explained my problem and the solution and my care with great clarity. I was blessed to get an appointment with her.

The nurse that was tasked with taking the 9 vials of blood was excellent. I didn't feel the needle going in nor did I feel the vials filling up. Best at inserting the needle and not bruising my arm after.

Everyone that I came in contact with on staff was super friendly, super professional. They all made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. It made a scary experience, not so scary. I was able to, like, focus on the issue without the anxiety because of everyone's disposition. I mean, everybody from the person who checked me in, to the nurse who took my vitals, to the nurse practitioner that actually saw me, to the person who took my blood samples, like everybody was personable and professional, and I really appreciated that.

I usually see Dr. Shepard, but whenever he's unavailable, I always feel comfortable seeing Dr. Nakia. It's refreshing to have a doctor who not only looks like me but also connects with me in a way that feels genuine. She's incredibly knowledgeable and often brings up things that others haven't mentioned. What I appreciate most is that she takes the time to ask EVERY question and looks at the bigger picture. Even when a concern falls outside her specialty, she's willing to share helpful insight. I always leave feeling heard and informed. I actually cried after my last visit but dont tell her, haha.
