Wait too long , to speak to receptionist took over 30 and to see the doctor over an hour from my appointment. Almost 2 hours. Doctor is excellent and knowledgeable , but the wait is long. Maybe today was a bad day . 3 person line should not take total of 35 when is another receptionist doing nothing. The behaviors were really nice and polite. But is not nice the waiting and fasting.

I am so fortunate to have Dr. Ashraf and his staff in the South Augusta location. I love being able to see a provider in my neighborhood. Chy at the front desk and Tralissa in the back took care of me doing this visit. I would recommend either to my family and friends. They were professional, courtesy and accommodating. Two things I would change is some furniture in the lobby needs re-upholstered and the exam room table / step to get on the table are not senior citizen friendly, a fall hazard.

The dr (my new PCP) was kind, comforting, authoratative, instantly knowledgeable, and sorted out a mess of conflicting prescriptions with an assurance that instantly put me at ease. He talked me through my first chief complaint thoroughly, explaining clearly what was going on in my body and how he could tweak my medication regimen to solve my concern completely. His instructions were very clear, even though I get lost pretty quickly. For my other chief complaint of rhe day, his kindness, empathy, and understanding had a profound effect on me. I was crying in my pickup after the appointment. Finally, someone understands. Finally, someone believes me. Finally, someone is willing to work with me as I improve my healthy and continue to lose weight. 160 lbs down so far, 50 to go! When I got home I was laughing through tears. Im still riding that positive mental mood the actions caused in me. What an absolute jewel of a medical doctor, and a human being

Yeah, you didn't really do anything well. So I didn't get like the pain management referral that I needed and want because I'm in pain because they took out my femur and put a metal rod in my leg and it hurts and I can't walk and I need some kind of pain management. And I understand that y'all can't, you know, give me straight opioids all the time, but recommending me Tylenol knowing that I have a GI problem and I really can't do Tylenol was annoying. Then he just lectured me on being sober and that's annoying. You're not my preacher. You're not my AA supervisor or speaker.

He recommended another medication. He told me how the medication works and the benefits of it over oral medication. It's so important to have a doctor who listens to you, validates your questions and suggestions, and assist with finding pharmaceutical resources are manageable on a budget. Dr. Ashraf is a really good doctor.

My doctor was very caring and listened to me.

Wait too long , to speak to receptionist took over 30 and to see the doctor over an hour from my appointment. Almost 2 hours. Doctor is excellent and knowledgeable , but the wait is long. Maybe today was a bad day . 3 person line should not take total of 35 when is another receptionist doing nothing. The behaviors were really nice and polite. But is not nice the waiting and fasting.
