After receiving her bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Bethel moved to Augusta for her residency. She decided to stay in the area to complete her cardiology fellowship and ultimately joined the faculty at Medical College of Georgia. Her practice interests involve general cardiology, peripheral arterial disease and cardio-obstetrics. She also maintains research interests in pulmonary embolism and peripheral arterial disease.
