Micah R. Tepper, M.D., F.A.C.C, graduated from Stanford University with an undergraduate degree in health care economics and policy. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Missouri, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Dr Tepper then completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Tepper joined Wellstar Cardiovascular Medicine in 2011 after practicing in Georgia with The Heart Clinic, P.C. from 2006 to 2011. He is an invasive cardiologist and is trained in cardiac catheterization, transthoracic/esophageal echocardiography, cardiovascular computed tomography and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Tepper is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Tepper practices at Wellstar Cobb and Douglas Hospitals. He is the Cardiology Section Chief and is also the Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. Dr. Tepper is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
